This year Student Services Week will be celebrated during the week of February 7-11, 2011. This provides an opportunity for us to focus attention on the support services that are provided by school counselors, school nurses, school social workers, school psychologists, and career education staff.

Student Services support teams are an integral part of the total public education system and assist students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to maximize student achievement.

In order to highlight Student Services professionals throughout the state, the following link includes a special proclamation from Governor Scott proclaiming February 7-11, 2011 as Student Services Week in Florida.
